Jambay at their best
I was at this show, and I remember it as being the highlight of all the times I saw Jambay at the WOW Hall and other venues in the area. Thanks to Jambay for making such wonderful music, thanks to everyone who supplied me with great cassettes of shows (especially Tyler), and thanks to everyone responsible for posting it here so I don't have to wear out my old cassettes anymore!

correct attribution, I'm sure
As the original seeder of this show, I'm sure Todd is correct that he is the original source. My copies came from Derek with no source listing and the info was reconstructed by me from memory and conversation with friends.
So thanks for all your hard work, Todd, and I'm glad to see you've seeded some other Jambay shows from across the years. The rest of my collection is not low gen/clean enough to seed here.

Taped by Todd Kushnir
I don't know about the etiquette of proper attributes, however, I believe that I, Todd Kushnir, was the Taper at this show. Along with being the F.O.H. Sound Engineer, it was I who "flew the mics" from the ceiling, set up the matrix, and the live recording to DAT. Sure, there may have been other people patched out of my machine, but I believe I set up and mixed this high quality recording. Just wanted to set the record straight. :)
This was one of the best shows of my time with the band. I would like to thank those that have been uploading Jambay shows. They are one of the greatest bands of all time and deserve to live on. I personally know that a lot more will be uploaded soon! Thanks again!

nearly perfect
Wow, this is a superior Jambay recording in many ways. What a wonderful example of what Jambay was all about. A great mix of songs both acoustic and electric, almost all well-honed performances, fabulous recording quality and levels.
The only oddities that stand out are a few flubbed lyrics (unusual) and a Mercury that starts completely out of whack (I think Shelley spontaneously forgot most of the song) before building to a tight, raging climax a minute before the end. The show even includes plenty of wacky banter between songs, including beloved tales of the ill-fated 30-foot propane bus! This is by far the best Jambay show of the 4 currently uploaded here, in my opinion of course.
